Notice to Former Employees from the Claims Committee for Creditors of Baha Mar Ltd. and its Affiliates

Payments of amounts owed to former employees of Baha Mar Ltd. and its affiliates (“Baha Mar”) will be made via the process listed below:

  1. The Committee will email an important Notice to your last known address per Baha Mar’s records no later than September 15, 2016. This Notice will detail the amounts owed to you as indicated in the records of Baha Mar and provided to you in October 2015.
  2. In order to receive your payments through this process, you will be required to assign your claim. A standard template of this Notice and Frequently Asked Questions for Former Employees can be viewed at the website: www.claimsspv.net.
  3. The Committee expects to make payments by check collection on the following dates:

Time: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily

  1. To collect your check you will be required to present government issued ID (e.g. passport, NIB smart card, or driver’s license).
  2. If you DO NOT receive an email from the Committee and previously received a Notice of Redundancy letter from Baha Mar in October 2015, you do not need to submit any further information at this time. Please come in person on the appropriate check collection date and you will be provided with your Notice. At that time, you will be required to assign your claim and provide relevant identification as outlined in No. 4 above, in order to collect your check.
