Ministry of Social Services and Community Development holds open Public Forum on Access for All

NASSAU, The Bahamas – The Disability Affairs Division of the Department of Social Services, Ministry of Social Services and Community Development, held an open Public Forum on “Access for All – Making The Bahamas Accessible for People of All Abilities!” at Holy Cross Anglican Church, December 15, 2015 inviting parents, children, friends, persons with disabilities, caregivers – everyone.  Minister of Social Services and Community Development the Hon. Melanie Griffin (at the podium) addressed the forum.   The newly formed National Commission for Persons with Disabilities seeks improved access to employment, access to the physical environment (for example, businesses places), access to education, and to health care.
